"For this capsule collection designed for LACOSTE L!VE, Agi & Sam have chosen to mix their entirely bespoke textiles with strong tailoring roots and a love for sportswear. A match made in heaven for this collaboration, for which Agi and Sam have decided to think in the René Lacoste’s mindset. They have looked at the extensive archive of the iconic inventor and tennis player, and mostly into his work with textile designer Robert George – creator of the famous crocodile logo – in which they have found a large variety of beautifully hand-drawn stripes in red, white and blue.
The result is a sporty wardrobe of 15 pieces developed in blue, white and red only. It comprises outerwear, sweaters, shirts, t-shirts, shorts and trainers that feature color-blocking and bold patterns. Playful yet precisely tailored, the LACOSTE L!VE capsule suits perfectly the LACOSTE motto of using traditional savoir-faire to create young contemporary apparel.
