"Dan Ward has a new campaign for Summer 2016 launching this week. The campaign was shot on location in Italy by Mattia Tacconi, and styled by Dan Ward. Villa Emilo in Italy lend the perfect backdrop for the new collection, embodying and amplifying the brand’s graphic, linear and refined approach to swimwear. Capturing zen moments and pure relaxation, summer begins not as a season, but as a feeling in this new collection. Summer is a state of mind.
The prints for Summer 2016 are inspired by Dan’s youth spent in Japan. Taking elements from traditional Japanese prints, some organic, some more geometric, this season is rooted in modern interpretations of classics. Further inspiration came from the Yukata, a casual cotton kimono worn by men during hot summer evenings, giving the collection a relaxed elegance and embracing the philosophy of creating refined resort wear for men who have an elevated sensibility and seek quality." - Fuckingyoung.es
