Gone have been the early 00's of great Indie/Alternative rock from the charts but 2 veterans of the scene have returned with surprisingly strong singles that may signal the change of the musical landscape (we hope).
New York City's Interpol have returned with a new album El Pintor and the single “All The Rage Back Home,” which is a brooding love song they performed on The Late Show with David Letterman. The band sounds refreshed and lead singer Paul Banks has aged beautifully now a handsome man.
If Interpol wasn't enough Canadian Punk duo Death From Above 1979 have reformed after releasing one acclaimed album and then breaking up in 2006 and now surprisingly reforming and releasing a new album The Physical World for 2014.
Catch them performing “Trainwreck 1979" below also on Letterman with The Late Show band as backup.
