The first Dior ready-to-wear ad campaign under the direction of Raf Simons has finally hit the web.
Shot by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign images are as much a departure from the dramatic style of John Galliano as the collection itself–along with a little Surrealist influence from René Magritte.
Most notably absent is Karlie Kloss, who had more or less dominated Dior ready-to-wear campaigns since Spring 2010. In her place are Daiane Conterato, Anna Martynova, Marie Piovesan, and Daria Strokous.
Commenters over at The Fashion Spot aren’t exactly gushing over the new direction, but we think the streamlined style accents the collection kind of perfectly.
Check out more images from the campaign below–are you feeling this interpretation of the “Dior woman”?
