Oh Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy! How I adore thee. Jim Morrison was rock infused with sex and soul appeal. Him along with his bandmates, The Doors, are infinitely one of my greatest influences in rock n roll musique history. But the most iconic rock group from the 1960s whose musique still blares through speaker phones to this day were founded in 1965, hailing from Los Angeles.
He was one of music's style icons in the 60s due to his bohemian/urban inspired ensembles. The pictorial above is a perfect example of his signature "Concho" belt, which is a traditional Native American sterling silver belt related to the Pueblo tribes known as the Navajo located in the region of Southwestern U.S.
He practically strutted this belt almost during every press release and/or performance. Jim wore that belt the same way I wear all of his songs on my sleeve. Oh and one must not forget his love of tunic shirts and printed trousers; Oh yeah!
