"Prada Suits Everyone." Or so the theme goes in this Roman Polanski directed short film produced for Prada's debut at this year's Cannes Festival. Starring the incomparable Helena Bonham Carter and Academy Award winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley, the duo display a fascinating 3 minute plus long short movie entitled, "A Therapy." The mood is all Prada. Which finds both subjects stylishly invigorating to the set and garment pieces.
From a lavish Prada fur coat to a cross dressing Ben Kingsley, I have to say, this short piece for one reason or another is quite amusing, not to mention magnificently enthralling. Dig it out kiddas and find a little therapy in this 1970’s themed ad campaign for yourselves.
"A game, a thought, that through mutual friendship and mutual respect has become true. When I was asked to shoot a short movie for Prada, I did not think that I could really be myself, but the reality is that in the total freedom I was given, I had the opportunity to reunite my favorite group of people on set and just have fun. The chance to dwell on what the fashion world represents nowadays and the fact that it is accompanied by so many stereotypes ifascinating and t the same time a bit upsetting, but you definitely can not ignore it. It’s very refreshing to know that there are still places open to irony and wit and, for sure, Prada is one of them. - Romans Polanski thoughts on the project."
