British Designers Dress Their Model Muses In Some Crazy Outfits to Meet the Queen

They may disagree on the season’s must-have accessory, or which color is “in,” but British designers are united on at least one thing: Their love for the Queen.

So, to show their devotion in the most fitting fashion (literally), the UK’s leading designers dressed up their model muses as a ‘living example’ of their work to make a good impression when they met the Queen, reports Grazia UK.

For Vivienne Westwood that meant dressing Lily Cole in a dramatic strapless navy gown; for Henry Holland it meant outfitting BFF Agyness Deyn in a patterned floor-length dress, and for Giles Deacon, of course, it meant having a model wear a perilous swan on her head.

Kate Middleton favorite Amanda Wakeley dressed little-known actress Lisa Barbuscia (aka Lisa B) in a white number with a thigh–actually, crotch–high slit that, we must say, was pretty risque to meet the Queen. But if Liz takes a shine to it, maybe we can see her grand-daughter-in-law K.Midd wearing it in the near future! - Fashionista.com
