What do you get when you have fresco inspired paintings from the Renaissance era? Well of course you get the latest collaboration between Sir Karl Lagerfeld and his muse Baptiste Giabiconi. It's the fashion designers project in conjuction with the Hotel Métropol Monte-Carlo. Focusing on the exterior structure alone, Karl is depicting what he's calling,
“an artistic setting;”
Specifically made for the hotel’s restaurant called Joël Robuchon.
Creating once again, a utopian world unto itself, the legend of Greek king Ulysses’ journey has been modernized into a black-and-white pertfection complete with mesmerizing textiles and accessories!
Here's an unrelated video kiddas entitled, 'Karl Lagerfeld and his Muse.'
It's a Baptiste work-out video. Just cause.
