We seen some crazy ways to sell a product but now this is a first as a Swedish skin care brand is using some straight forward means to let you know what their brand can do for you (We'll take a years supply!)
REN is one of our favorite skin care brands–their serums are legendary, and the Glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel mask will change your life (well, it’ll change your face). This year the cult-fave Swedish brand is celebrating their 10 year anniversary. How did they choose to commemorate this milestone? By shooting a soft core porn short film, naturally.
Kiss and Makeup reports that REN wanted to highlight its “natural” reputation (their products are known for being natural but still high-tech), so the film features two people having sex in a lovely Swedish lake, complete with Alison Krauss’ haunting “Down to the River to Pray” playing in the background. At the end (after a quick full frontal shot), the man asks his lady, “How do you feel?” She replies, “Ren.” Which means clean. This film totally makes us want to, um, exfoliate.
Watch the film below but for heaven’s sake don’t watch it at work or in front of kids or anything.
