Nino Cerruti was an Italian-born wardrobe stylist turned fashion designer who excelled in the menswear department making his motifs on the runways and in print, iconic throughout the 1960s and 1970s. No stranger to lending a helping hand in creating cinematic masterpieces either, Cerruti revolutionized the suit along with the use of accessories. Such is thee example up above, as Nino spices up an already snazzy looking long vest with a spiffy scarf which he strutted impeccably in the late 1960s.
It may be over 45 years since Cerruti first opened his boutique in 1967 in Place de la Madeleine in Paris, France but his tendency to always push the envelope will live on in fashion history until the end of time.
