Frances Cobain Daughter Of Kurt and Courtney

How the years have rolled on as you can see by the below photos by Rocky Schenck and Hedi Slimane of now 19 year old Frances Cobain daughter of rockers Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. In a short interview from US magazine we are given some insight on exactly who is Francis and who she isn't.
Her parents might be one of rock's most famous couples but in a new set of photos, Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, is more glamour than grunge.

The images, which were shot by fine art photographer Rocky Schenck, show the striking 19-year-old redhead alternating between sexy and demure poses.

Cobain, an artist, also posed for some dramatic black and white shots by designer Heidi Slimane that appeared earlier this month. In those photos, she has dark brown hair and is shown smoking and covered in tattoos.

Prior to these two shoots, Cobain did a spread for Harper's Bazaar when she was just 15, telling the magazine that fame wasn't her goal.

"These people are fascinated by me, but I haven't done anything," she said "If you're a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I'm not my parents."

In 2009 Love lashed out at her daughter after the then 17-year-old girl was placed under temporary guardianship of her paternal grandmother and Cobain's sister. (No reason was given for the guardianship.)

"I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s**t has lost her position..." Love, 47, ranted on her Facebook page. "She was deceptive, she lied and she's lying to herself... My daughter is not always honest."

Love also said her daughter isn't as rich as she thinks she is, adding that she is "clearly deluded" if she thinks she can buy her grandmother a "small house in L.A." Said Love, "I'd love to see how that works ... She thinks she has all this money. The point is, I have all the money she has."

Love then insisted her daughter "is a wonderful kid," but she has "bad people around her and wants it both ways."
