Conan O'Brien may not seem like your usual choice as a guest commencement speaker at graduation, but one thing he is not is trite. A typical boring commencement speech is something Conan obviously worked towards against. While addressing the Dartmouth graduates, the late night host made some hilarious jokes but all in all, and with much conviction, he told them the following,
"Your path at 22, may not be the same path you'll have at 32 or 42. It is our failure to become our perceived ideal that ultimately defines us and make us unique. Its not easy but if you accept your misfortune and handle it right, your perceived failure can become a catalyst for profound reinvention."
And oh boy, how we agree. What a speech, what a man. Scope out all of Conan's inspiring and funny anecdotes below!
"Word hard, Be kind, and Amazing things will happen."
