Kylie Minogue, was born today, on May 28 in 1968. Kylie is an international pop singer-songwriter. Yes she may have started her career as a child actress on Australian television, but it wasn't long before her first single, "Locomotion", would make Kylie into one of thee most successful pop female artists of all time. The Queen of Dance later brought a more mature style in her music and public image during the 90s but it wasn't until Minogue had a greater degree of artistic capability drawing inspirations from an array of musical genres.
It is said that, "Minogue took creative control over the songwriting for her next album, Impossible Princess (1997). It failed to attract strong reviews or sales in the UK, but was successful in Australia. Minogue returned to prominence in 2000 with the single "Spinning Around" and the dance-oriented album Light Years, and she performed during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics."
Her videos began to showcase an even more sexually provocative and charged attitude. Than everything changed completely with the release of "Can't Get You Out of My Head". The tune reached number one in more than 40 countries! The poptastic album entitled, 'Fever' was a hit throughout the world, even in the U.S! ( An audience which Minogue had previously received little to no recognition.) In 2007, Kylie released her tenth studio album entitled, "X". In 2009, she embarked on her first concert tour in the States and in Canada.
