Roy Lichtenstein was one of thee most respected artists of the Pop Art movement during the 60s and 70s. His works were influenced by comic books, advertisting, and popular culture with making ladies the main characters as the focus in his artwork. Below, he was photographed by Dennis Hopper in 1964, naturally posing next to one of his works. In it, he wore a 1960s mod staple, my F/W choice of thread, thee turtleneck, along with light colored trousers and worn sneakers.
One of the most noted works from Lichtenstein is "In The Car" from 1963. It perfectly captures the style of that year.
