Michael Jackson is receiving a strange honor in Taiwan -- immortalization via scarecrow. Salesman Lee Ping-hsing thought the King of Pop would do the trick against some pesky birds, so he built a few MJ scarecrows to get them to beat it.
Ping-hsing couldn't think of anyone else more fit for the job. "During harvest, my dad would go to the fields every day to chase away the birds," Ping-hsing told CBS. "And I thought since Michael is good at 'grabbing his bird,' I'd invite Michael to grab birds in our fields."
Michael Jackson still creeps out his grandparents, but Ping-hsing thought it was nice having his hero around to help out.
"I was yelled at by my grandpa," Ping-hsing said. "He said his spirit would come back and haunt us, but I think it would be nice if Michael could come over." - Popeater.com
