Craaaaazzzzyyy is thee only adjective I can think of immediately after watching Ciara's new video single after a couple of times. Ciara at this point shouldn't have to prove her already established music career to the public but as we've seen in recent times with other already seasoned artists (Christina Aguilera, etc) this new generation we're living in, proves other wise. Sure, earlier this year she released a couple singles that didn't fair well with critics and fans alike. But this time around, Ciara knows what she's doing, and knows how to display her wildly danced choreographed moves to the viewer until we're pretty much beside ourselves. If this doesn't smash records with overflows of video views or accolades of some sort, than it's the publics loss and nothing can be done after that. The public likes what it likes. Unfortunately, it's not always in good taste. Watch the video and agree with me after kiddas.
Ciara's video for her single "Gimmie Dat" features Chucks with special stripper heel attachments, followed by some insane dance moves in what appears to be the parking lot of an abandoned industrial park. There Ciara walks into a warehouse where she quickly throws on a Atlanta Braves hat, followed by multiple costume changes and begins grooving her arse off with a string of male dancers.
The video literally has gravity defying choreography. It's loud, bold, and electrifying. You'll have a full throttle experience while watching Ciara pick-up where the likes of equally entertaining acts such as Janet, Britney, and Aaliyah have left off.
Hands down, it's the best dance video of the year. "Gimmie Dat" is the lead single off of Ciara's upcoming record, "Basic Instinct".
