Leonardo DiCaprio is adamant about saving the lives Tigers because he has recently started campaigning with World Wildlife Fund to save these beautiful cats.
There are an estimated 3,000 tigers living in the wild. Thee organiztion along with Leonardo DiCaprio today jump started "the Save Tigers Now campaign."
Because of thee Chinese Year of the Tiger, a goal of $20 million dollars has been inked on paper with hopes of multiplying the tiger population by the year 2022. Which is also the next Year of the Tiger.
"Tigers are endangered and critical to some of the world’s most important ecosystems,” stated DiCaprio. “Key conservation efforts can save the tiger species from extinction, protect some of the planet’s last wild habitats and help sustain the local communities surrounding them. By protecting this iconic species, we can save so much more."
