Fefe Dobson I Want You 2 Watch Me Move Music Video.
Well here we have an artist who is inevitably pre-judged simply by the sound of her name and image. But if you take a moment to honestly approach these 2 remarkable tunes with ease and fun, everything else sort of falls into place.
With the first track 'I Want You', Miz Dobson brilliantly lays a one-two melody reminiscent of the Kinks and Beatles early days. Now careful with taking my words out of context. This is not a comparison of artistry but more a finding of similarities in the music.
Whether they declared to want you all day and all night or cant seem to get you outta of their heads....Fefe declares 'i want you, let me say it again , i wont say it again, but let me say it again' is filled with electricity that makes you wanna shimmy and shake at the least bit. This year's 'Are you gonna be my girl' transformed into a lady's perspective, has perhaps, a strong influence from Jack White's first days with Meg White or a Joan Jett and The Bangles vibe to it...Fefe Dobson serves a natural rocktastic non-glamourific approach to this new album.
Although some shots in the video have a mayjuh sense of a pop mainstream welcome-mat to it...nonetheless, its groovey all the way down to the honey in my hips.
